Conference Workshops

The following is a partial list of some of the topics we can provide.  They usually are about 45-60 minutes in length and can be combined to fit your need. They are interactive, practical,  and can be modified to fit your needs.

  • YOUTH MINISTRY
  • The Four Corners of a Growing Youth Ministry-These are the four keys that will determine the size and impact of the student ministry you lead.

  •  Hit Your Targets-There are eight key youth targets.  Do you know them?  Find out what they are so your time of ministry can be fruitful.  Critical for the volunteer and full time worker.

  • Youth Ministry Basics-The is a practical approach to youth ministry that assumes you don't have any time to waste.  the principles here work with a group of 2 to 200.  With over twenty-five years of youth ministry experience you will be helped by stores that show you are not alone.

  •  Creating Evangelistic Opportunities-Fact, teens want to see their friends come to Christ.  Fact, most won’t do anything about it.  Fact, you can organize events and strategies that will help them win their friends to Christ.

  •  Anger, the Everybody Issue-This engaging presentation enables you to understand anger and what to do about it as you learn how to deal with it in a mature way.

  •  Suicide the Friend Stealer-A proactive approach to one of the most tragic events that can occur in a community or church.

  •  Building Your Youth Staff-Learn how to put into practice a plan that will fill the ranks of volunteers in your youth ministry setting.

  •  Short Term Missions in Youth Ministry-This key event can be your biggest heartache and/or success as you disciple your youth on Christ’s Great Adventure for the church.  Learn the A to Z on this from a veteran of over one hundred trips.

  •  Creating a Climate for Change-How do students change?  How can you make that happen in your youth ministry setting?  Key scriptural principles are laid out for you here.

  •  Developing a Drama Ministry in Your Setting-What do your coaches need to know?  How can you calendar for success?  What are my options in the area of Drama in the Church and in Ministry?  Come find out!

  •  Make Your Calendar Work for You-Learn how to utilize the calendars around you to create a fruitful youth ministry year in your setting.

  •  Get a Quick Checkup for Your Youth Ministry-Find out what is a healthy youth ministry and how to take steps to help the common areas of weakness in them.

  • Campus Ministry-Learn how to have effective ministry on the public school campus.  A variety of strategies and tools will be presented to help you reach your students where they spend the majority of their time

  • The First Aid Kid-Everyone has to deal with the wounds of life.  Learning how will enable us to live a long fruitful life and pass on the First Aid Kit to those we minister to.  Equipped we can see life's wounds becomes scars and stories of God's faithfulness.  Left alone they become the wounds that sideline so many.

  • He Made Them Male and Female-Learn how to program ministries in the church that take the gender differences into account.  This will help you develop strong people in every aspect of your church.  Whether it is children's ministry, youth, or adult this will be a help to you.

  • CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

  • Building a Long Term Tem of Children's Workers-Key principles that will enable you to recruit and keep children's workers in your volunteer setting.

  • Utilizing Drama by and for Children- Involve your children in drama so they can impact their peers on their level with the truths they all need to know and understand.

  • Evangelism and Children-An honest look at evangelism and how to keep them once we have cast the net and brought them into the faith.

  • Exposing children to Missions with an Unforgettable Experience-You can't take them on the field but you can bring the field to them.

  • Drama in the Ministry Toolbox-The words drama and ministry go together.  Watch examples and learn how to utilize drama in dozens of settings with a variety of action and audiences.  Based on drama experiences since 1984.

  • Drama in the Missions Toolbox-Learn how to cross language and cultural barriers anywhere in the world.  The tool of drama can be used to set the platform for incredible ministry opportunities.  Based on ministry experience on six continents.

  • Developing a Drama Ministry in your Setting-This session targets people who know what drama is and want to develop a drama ministry in their setting.  Practical help from people who have been training others since 1990.

  • Drama Games-Learn how this fun interactive exercise can help build team unity, creativity, and basic drama skills.  Come ready to be involved in this fast-paced informative sessions.

  • EVANGELISM

  • Holes in the Armor-How to effectively share the Gospel with those who are involved in the cults and religions of the world. This practical session gives you five tools that works with anyone.

  • Creating Evangelistic Opportunities-Most people want to obey Christ's commands to be fishers of men.  This will enable you to involve them in the great commission in the Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the Earth.

  • SHORT TERM MISSIONS

  • Winning the World with Short Term Mission Teams-Why and how you can get involved in short term missions.  You will see why and how short term missions has supplied most of the existing missionaries on the field full-time today.

  • Short Term Missions at Home and Abroad-With experience on over one hundred short term mission trips, you will learn what to do and avoid as you work with  team to go into the corners of the globe.  From planning to preparation to the post game wrap up you will find nuggets to help you in your mission efforts.
